I’m Courtney, I was hired in 2015 which makes me Muddy River’s first employee! You can find me at the front of the distillery greeting you on Saturdays and behind the scenes bottling. I am a teacher full time and let’s be honest working at Muddy River is an added bonus.

I am a Gastonia native and have known Caroline Delaney since 1994. I enjoy exploring the Charlotte area, camping, kayaking, the beach and the mountains. My favorite Muddy River cocktail is the Queen Charlotte's Old Fashion. During the summer months a refreshing watermelon Jell-O shot made with Basil Rum.
