Rum-Glazed Bacon

This rum glazed bacon recipe is a MUST TRY! Sweet and savory this bacon is the perfect addition to your breakfast plate or even a bloody mary!

Ingredients: 

Muddy River Spiced Rum, thick cut bacon, brown sugar, pepper

Recipe: 

In a saucepan: 

  • Warm 1 cup of Spiced Rum 
  • Dissolve .5 cup brown sugar 
  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees 
  • Place bacon on a rack and coat with Spiced Rum and brown sugar glaze 
  • Add pepper to taste 
  • Place in oven until crispy 
  • While in oven, reglaze and flip when necessary 
  • Remove from oven
  • Serve
