Basil Spinach Pesto

Pesto is great for pasta, sandwiches, pizza, salads, as a sauce, and so much more! Our take on pesto using our Basil Rum is a recipe you have to try!

Ingredients: 

Muddy River Basil Rum, spinach, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt

Recipe: 

In a food processor add: 

  • 2 cups spinach
  • .5 cup pine nuts and pulse
  • 2 garlic cloves 
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese and pulse
  • .75 cups olive oil 
  • Salt to taste and pulse
  • 3oz Basil Rum 
  • Pulse everything until fully combined 
  • Serve
